TOPIC:Editing proxies using class Editor
First u need to have a proxy file in your phone
u need to duplicate the .prov file is just for safety.
Make sure that the class editor is set to to "Add and Edit data"
lets roll. try and locate the .prov file in either ur drive C:/ or drive E:/
when u see the file open it.
when u open the .prov file u will see all its contents. they look strange and funny
each character is a programmed language. pls remember to duplicate it. cos if u make mistake
u can go back to the original.
when u see all those characters then scroll with the keys to locate the ip address that is in there. that
is what u will edit/change. now when u ve seen the ip
move ur cursor to the beginning of the IP address. then press the "*" button when u do this the first number is highlited
with red colour now move ur cursor to the right, over all the remaining ip. that it may highlight the others
stop immediately at the end of the last number. pls dont highlight any space.
press the ok button. press it again, to cut the ip. u will see cut symbolbelow ur screen. dont move ur cursor b4 doing this
After u press OK button scroll down and click on TEXT.
then enter ur new proxy address u wish to use (010.199.212.2)
Go to options and cllick OK. once u clik OK the editing page
u will see the new ip u can do the same for port and access point.Then go to options (left soft key) and click save. once it shows overwrite u re done.
